In 2008, Michael Townsend Wright starred as the one-and-only Eddie Foy – a role written for him – in a new production of The Seven Little Foys, a lively, original musical by Chip Deffaa. Eddie Foy was a famous vaudevillian and a star on Broadway who took all seven of his talented children into show business with him. As the legendary song-and-dance man, Michael performed in 42 out of the 46 musical numbers and received wonderful reviews.

Nearly four years later, in 2012, Michael entered the recording studio to record an original cast album of the show.
